Our client are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Telesales Business Development Representative to join their team and contribute to their ambitious growth plans.
Job Overview:
As a Telesales Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to prospective clients within the apprenticeship training sector. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities through strategic outreach, establishing rapport, and effectively communicating the value of their apprenticeship programs. This role requires a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting educational and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospecting: Conduct proactive outbound calls to potential clients within the apprenticeship training sector to generate interest in the programs.
- Identify and qualify potential leads through effective questioning and understanding of client needs.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business challenges and offering tailored solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the apprenticeship programs and industry trends to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations over the phone, highlighting the benefits of the apprenticeship training solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and update the CRM system with accurate and timely information on leads and opportunities.
- Work closely with the broader sales and marketing teams to align strategies and achieve collective goals.
- Targets and Reporting: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, providing regular reports on progress and activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in telesales/business development, within the apprenticeship training/education sector.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales processes.
- Knowledge of the apprenticeship training sector is a plus.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
