Description

TRAVEL ALL OVER

Our client is looking for a Technical IT trainer to join their ever-growing Training team.  The role will be expected to cover many Technologies, although do not worry if you don’t know them all right now, they can help plug the gaps. The successful candidate will deliver on average for 3 out of every 4 weeks.

  • CompTIA A+, N+, S+
  • Windows Server, Networking, AD, DPM
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware)
  • SQL Server
  • SharePoint
  • Cisco
  • Unix/Linux

You can either be a Technical Instructor who needs upskilling in technologies or someone who understands the tech and has a passion for teaching who they can develop into an amazing instructor.

Our client delivers to a wide range of customers, including Corporate companies, Local Authorities, Central Government and the MOD.  As such delivery can be on secure sites in the UK, so a UK Security Clearance (SC/DV) would be a major benefit but if not, the willingness to go through the process.

When overnight travel for on-site training is required, all reasonable expenses are paid by the company.  So, whilst you could be based anywhere within the UK a willingness and flexibility to travel is needed and with HQ in Worcester, they would like you to show your face there from time to time also.

Personal Specification:

Good working knowledge of:

  • IP networking
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware)
  • Cisco
  • Windows and other operating systems

  • Can demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter who is confident to take on a training role and develop training and technical skills
  • Qualifications in Microsoft Server, Cisco, VMware, or CompTIA are desirable
  • Some experience of delivering training is advantageous, but full OJT and a ‘train the trainer course’ will also be provided for the right person
  • A willingness to contribute to course development
