Our client is looking for a head of Quality and Compliance to work across all areas of the business, taking responsible for our continuous improvement, management of risk and meeting the compliance aspects imposed by various agencies such as the ESFA and Ofsted. Our client is a small business so the role is one that involves both achieving through others whilst also completing your own tasks. No job is too big or too small for any person in the organisation.
Our client is looking for someone with a keen attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies and fix them. They need a confident communicator with the ability to talk to a variety of people and who can organise and influence people, managing them in a positive, constructive way. They need to be able to digest rules, guidance, inspection information and translate that into deliverable process and procedure. This needs to be mixed with excellent commercial acumen and someone who is comfortable with both big picture, strategic planning and detailed, analytical, critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a quality assurance framework and self-assessment process.
- Build and implement a quality improvement plan.
- Own, review, implement all policy and procedure.
- Develop techniques to measure performance against quality.
- Develop and lead our risk management framework & deliver day-to-day requirements.
- Develop and implement a compliance plan that ensure we meet all criteria across multiple third-party regulations.
- Lead on audits and/or compliance tasks.
- Participate in Trustee Board Meetings as required.
Requirements
- Qualification in quality and/or risk management.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and fix them.
- Confident communicator with the ability to talk to a variety of people.
- Ability to organise and influence people and manage them in a positive, constructive way.
- Ability to digest rules, guidance, inspection information and translate that into deliverable process and procedure.
- Excellent commercial acumen, comfortable with both big picture, strategic planning and detailed, analytical and critical thinking, demonstrating at least five years’ experience in a similar role and three years in a similar leadership position.
- Experience of business planning, policy management and quality improvement.
