LOCATION: Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire & London (Field Work / Remote)
ROLE PURPOSE
Our client is looking for an experienced Childcare Early Years Assessor/Tutor, with Teaching Assistant experience who can share their knowledge with their Childcare & Education Team and further their career.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibility for an agreed caseload of learners across the work area.
- Planning your own diary
- Visiting learners within their place of work
- Providing one-to-one and group support
- Teaching classes of around 12 students
- Identifying learner’s strengths and weaknesses through the initial assessment and supporting them accordingly to progress to next levels.
- Providing interactive and engaging face-to-face and online tuition sessions using a range of teaching methods and resources
- Maintaining up-to-date CPD
- Attending Delivery meetings
- Working with the IQA to develop and implement actions
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Adult teaching qualification (Certificate in Level 3 Education in Training or equivalent).
- Assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent).
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or alternatively up to and including Level 5. Teaching Assistant experience
