Overview

Responsible for engaging with local and national employers to promote our clients programmes (IT, DM, AAT) and secure suitable sustainable employment opportunities.

Your role will be to encompass Telesales, networking, Client meetings and proactive follow up of marketing leads, whilst ensuring all details are accurately updated onto the ZOHO CRM system

The RE role is tier 1 of the 5 stage Sales Career Path.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

You will be competent in either IT/Digital or professional services Apprenticeships. The role is to ensure consistent achievement of starts targets from non-levy Clients- SME/MME- Delivering starts in these core programmes to maximise class sizes and staff utilisation

Key Outcomes to be measured (KPI’s)

Role KPI’s

  • Consistent achievement of quality starts (after DNS and < 6week) target: 6- 8 starts pm /£60k-£80k
  • ‘Did Not Starts’ not to exceed 5%
  • 6-week leavers (less than 10% of all new starts)
  • Submit all paperwork, DAS and compliance requirements within SLA’s.
  • 125 Sales Calls are made each week
  • Focus on the Core Programme you have been employed to work on (IT/DM or AAT)
  • 6 Placements made each month
  • 5 new vacancies generated each week
  • Core Sales hours (10-12, 2-4) are adhered to
  • Positive Apprentice relationships (reviews and Apprentice surveys)
  • All documentation related to funding and audit requirements 100% accurate and to ensure that all claims are made on time to the relevant funder
  • Tracking and monitoring processes will be developed and embedded to ensure data and records are accessible and accurate.
  • To identify opportunities to enhance the work with our key stakeholders

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential

  • Used to working and hitting targets
  • Experience of working with 16-18-year olds
  • Experience of engaging with employers
  • Experience of turning an employer vacancy into a filled job
  • Knowledge of local labour markets and population/demographics
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • To hold (or pass) an Enhanced CRB check

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the FE sector, Apprenticeship frameworks and funded programmes
  • Knowledge of IT and/or Accountancy
  • Experience of coaching, mentoring and training
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes

Skills

  • Good understanding and application of team work
  • Sales/business development knowledge and experience
  • Problem solver with good organisational skills
  • Ability to relate to young people and carry out initial assessments and interviews
